The foundation must use reinforced concrete with sufficient load-bearing capacity. It should be 60–80 cm thick and 1.2–1.5 times the machine’s footprint. Steel rebar reinforces the concrete to prevent cracking under dynamic loads.
Two common foundation types work well. Isolated block foundations suit good soil and separate from the factory floor. Raft foundations, large reinforced slabs, are ideal for poor soil conditions. Both types need a weight 3–5 times that of the machine to dampen vibrations effectively.
Key Standards: Flatness and Vibration Isolation
Flatness is non-negotiable for a stationary block making machine. The foundation surface must be perfectly level, with a tolerance of ≤ 2 mm/m. This prevents machine tilting, which would cause uneven block compaction and mold wear.
Vibration isolation is also essential. Rubber pads or bitumen gaps between the foundation and floor reduce vibration transmission. For Tiger models, following the manufacturer’s specifications ensures optimal alignment and vibration control.
Final Steps: Site Preparation and Curing
The site needs good drainage to avoid waterlogging. Excavate below the frost line to prevent freeze-thaw damage. Embed anchor bolts during concrete pouring to secure the machine firmly.
Allow the concrete 7–14 days of curing to reach full strength. Then you can install the stationary block making machine. A well-built foundation cuts maintenance costs and ensures consistent, high-quality block production.
